I always feel so dumb, especially while I'm being trained for a job and getting to know everyone. I view myself as a bumbling idiot basically, hahEvahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00418611859712611024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551289237412196300.post-22516480436422205422011-06-27T13:35:14.770-07:002011-06-27T13:35:14.770-07:00I can very much relate! I started using meetup websites online and going to potlucks and other get togethers where people were expected not to know each other and each time I went it got a little bit easier for the next time. I'm still awkward! Hahaha... some days more so than others, but it's definitely getting better. Try the group runs, and look for more situations like that where you can push yourself. Good luck!Faithhttp://growingwings.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551289237412196300.post-59794272789263293582011-06-24T20:37:47.619-07:002011-06-24T20:37:47.619-07:00Amber, the hardest part is that first step, but on...Amber, the hardest part is that first step, but once you take it, the rest get progressively easier. Don't allow yourself to say, I can't, or I am afraid. Change your thoughts to initiate change to, "I want to do this, so I'm going to check it out." I know you can, you had so much guts in sports and you gave it 110%. That challenge is what life is all about.Paul's Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13843383424514985366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551289237412196300.post-29386901413943090322011-06-21T14:44:05.473-07:002011-06-21T14:44:05.473-07:00Amber, you can do this! As awkward as it might seem at first. You can only get better in those types of situations if you practice.Sanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10196296268895103846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551289237412196300.post-29159399002005464012011-06-21T11:48:35.122-07:002011-06-21T11:48:35.122-07:00I just want to say that you're a badass. :)I just want to say that you're a badass. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551289237412196300.post-83699693221279340792011-06-21T10:54:00.773-07:002011-06-21T10:54:00.773-07:00Later in life you will look back and say to yourse...Later in life you will look back and say to yourself, "What was I thinking?"
